Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This policy explains what data we keep when you use Koinonet, why we use it and what choices you have.

1. What data we collect

When you create your account and sign in, we keep:

  • Your name, as you choose to display it.
  • Your email address.
  • Your Google profile photo, if you sign in with Google.
  • The language you use the site in.
  • Your time zone, based on your browser settings.
  • Your country or region, based on your browser’s language settings.
  • The date you created your account and the date of your last sign-in.

2. Why we use it

We use this data to create and maintain your account, let you sign in, show your name, present the site in your language and time zone, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Services we use

Koinonet runs on Google’s Firebase for authentication, the database and website hosting. These services process the data they need to work under their own policies.

4. Data on your device

Your browser keeps your session so you don’t have to sign in every time, your language preference and, while you finish signing in by email, the address we sent the link to. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Your choices

You can change the site language at any time. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data.

6. Changes

This is an initial version. We will update this policy as Koinonet grows and publish each new version on this page with its date.

7. Contact
